Agreement and operator

These Terms form an agreement between you and MASED INC LTD, company number 15390144, registered at Dalton House, 60 Windsor Road, Merton Abbey, London SW19 2RR, United Kingdom. By creating an account or using UmojaMatch, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.
• You must provide accurate account, age, profile, and location information and keep it current.
• You may maintain only accounts that belong to you and must not impersonate another person or organisation.
• You must not use UmojaMatch if we previously removed you for a serious safety violation, unless we give written permission.

The service

UmojaMatch provides love networking, guided discovery, introductions, messaging, member profiles, safety tools, and related features. A connection, introduction, compatibility score, or recommendation is not a guarantee of identity, compatibility, conduct, or relationship outcome. Members remain responsible for their decisions and personal safety.

Member conduct

Treat every member with dignity. You must not:

• Exploit, sexualise, groom, contact, or facilitate access to anyone under 18.
• Create, upload, request, possess, or distribute child sexual abuse material or other illegal content.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate against, defraud, extort, traffic, or exploit another person.
• Post pornography, non-consensual intimate content, hate content, violent threats, or content that objectifies or ranks real people.
• Misrepresent your identity, age, relationship status, location, intentions, qualifications, or affiliations.
• Solicit money, financial credentials, investments, commercial sexual services, or unlawful goods or services.
• Scrape profiles, reverse engineer security controls, automate access, evade blocks, or interfere with the service.
• Publish another person's private information or move conversations off-platform to evade safety controls.

Member content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce, process, moderate, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve UmojaMatch. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit the content and that it complies with these Terms.

We may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, investigation, or enforcement. Report and block tools are available in member interaction flows.

Memberships, subscriptions, and Connection Credits

• Digital memberships and Connection Credits purchased in the mobile app are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Before purchase, the store displays the price, billing period, taxes where applicable, and renewal terms. Auto-renewing subscriptions continue until cancelled through the relevant store account.
• Deleting your UmojaMatch account does not itself cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel the subscription in the store before deleting your account if you do not want renewal billing to continue.
• Purchased Connection Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and do not expire. Credits included with a recurring membership may reset according to the membership period disclosed at purchase.
• Refunds are handled under Apple's or Google's applicable rules. Refunded, reversed, or invalid transactions may cause related access or credits to be revoked.

Safety, enforcement, and account access

We may warn, limit, suspend, or terminate an account, remove content, prevent contact, or cooperate with authorities when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect members, investigate abuse, or comply with law. Safety systems may refuse a protected action if identity, device, network, location, content, or payment checks do not return a clear approval.

Account deletion

You may initiate permanent deletion in the app under Settings or through our account deletion page. Deletion is subject to identity verification and limited lawful retention described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. We may improve, replace, or discontinue features. If a material change affects a paid service, we will provide notice where required and preserve applicable consumer rights.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, UmojaMatch is provided without guarantees about individual members, relationship outcomes, uninterrupted operation, or error-free availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available under the law where you live.
