Trust and safety
Member dignity is the standard.
UmojaMatch is an 18+ love networking community. These published standards apply to every profile, photo, message, introduction, and Circle.
Last updated 6 August 2026
Adults only
UmojaMatch is strictly for people aged 18 and over. Members must provide accurate age information. Suspected underage accounts should be reported immediately using "Underage concern" in the in-app Report member flow.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
UmojaMatch prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexualisation of minors, or any attempt to contact a child for sexual purposes. This prohibition includes real, altered, generated, linked, requested, or described material.
We remove prohibited content and accounts, preserve information when legally required, and report apparent CSAM or child exploitation to the appropriate authorities and designated reporting bodies as required by applicable law.
Report a child-safety concern
Use the in-app Report member action and select "Underage concern" whenever possible. You may also contact our child-safety point of contact at emeceo@masedinc.com. Do not download, save, forward, or attach suspected CSAM.
Prohibited conduct and content
- Pornography, commercial sexual services, trafficking, coercion, or non-consensual intimate material.
- Threats, stalking, harassment, bullying, hate, discrimination, or encouragement of violence.
- Scams, financial solicitation, impersonation, deceptive profiles, or location misrepresentation.
- Doxxing, unauthorised disclosure of private information, or attempts to evade a block.
- Objectifying, rating, or ranking real people, and random or anonymous chat experiences.
- Spam, automation, scraping, malicious links, or attempts to defeat security and moderation controls.
Moderation and enforcement
Profiles, photos, member-generated text, messages, and reports may be reviewed by automated systems and trained reviewers. We may prevent publication, remove content, limit contact, suspend or terminate an account, and restrict devices or networks when needed to protect members or comply with law. Missing or unclear safety signals are not treated as approval for protected actions.
Report and block
Report and Block are available from member profiles and relevant interaction flows. Reports may include a reason and optional details. Blocking removes the direct interaction boundary and prevents further contact through the blocked relationship. Reports are handled confidentially to the extent reasonably possible.
Safer introductions
- Keep early conversations on UmojaMatch while trust develops.
- Never send money, financial credentials, passwords, or security codes to another member.
- Meet in a public place, tell someone you trust, control your own transport, and leave if you feel unsafe.
- Consent must be clear, voluntary, specific, and reversible. A connection never implies consent.
Immediate danger
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. UmojaMatch is not an emergency service.
